At Pixelnation, you will never receive a scan created from a generic profile.  Instead we create unique density and color curves specifically for each image.  We carefully tailor each scan: adjusting black point, white point, color and contrast to preserve all the nuance in your film.  You worked hard to capture the image.  Our goal is to provide a scan that accurately represents your vision.

1. All film is scanned at 48-bit (16-bit / channel RGB) on our Aztek Premier Drum Scanner.
   

2. Images are saved in your choice of 8-bit or 16-bit RGB.
   

3. All film is cleaned and Kami mounted to insure optimal clarity and sharpness.
   

4. Film is analyzed and matched to 1 of 18 apertures to insure optical sharpness down to the film grain.
   

5. We only use optical outputs to determine dpi which guarantees non-interpolated results.
